TFP Finance Terms of Use
Clear terms for planning, access, and subscriptions.
Last updated October 15, 2026
Pre-release terms. TFP Finance is in development for an initial United States release. The subscription terms below describe the planned launch offer. Purchases are not yet available and reading these terms does not start a trial or authorize a charge.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of TFP Finance and its related services from TFPath Technologies LLC ("TFPath," "we," or "us"), a Colorado limited liability company. Contact support@tfpath.com with questions. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. The app is designed for Southwest Pilots; the initial distribution is limited to the United States.
Review these terms before using the app. By accepting them in the app, you agree to them. A purchase requires a separate confirmation through the applicable app store. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling; it is not a substitute for any consent required by law.
2. App license and store terms
For an App Store download, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license. These terms supplement that agreement for TFPath's service and subscription conditions; they do not replace it. If a term conflicts with a mandatory store requirement or applicable law, that requirement or law controls. For license matters on Apple devices, Apple's standard agreement controls.
For a Google Play download, TFPath grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the app for your own lawful personal purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Google Play's applicable rules. TFPath retains rights in the app, software, branding, and original content. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
3. Planning assistance, not financial services
TFP Finance helps you import supported payroll PDFs, review pay information, estimate income, plan expenses, and track recorded payments. Supported document formats, tax references, and calculation assumptions have limits. Review imports and compare important figures with your actual payslips, employer records, benefit documents, bank records, and official tax guidance.
Forecasts are estimates and can change. Actual-pay labels describe the app's treatment of imported or entered information, not an independent audit of its accuracy. TFP Finance does not provide professional financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice; prepare or file tax returns; hold funds; access your bank account; or send payments. Pay bills through your bank or bill provider. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
"Plan smarter. Track progress. Grow wealth. Succeed further." describes a planning goal, not a guarantee of savings, investment returns, accurate withholding, or any financial outcome. The app is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Southwest.
4. Subscription plans and included access
Monthly: $4.99 USD per month, billed monthly.
Annual: $29.99 USD per year, billed as one annual payment.
Both plans provide the same subscription features: new supported document imports, forecasts, budget changes, and expense reminders. Your selected billing period determines how often you pay. Taxes, if applicable, and the exact charge are shown by the store before you confirm. The annual plan is not a monthly installment plan.
A subscription is not required to read, export, or delete records already saved on your device. When a trial or paid entitlement ends, new imports, forecasts, budget changes, and reminders require an active subscription. Saved data is not deleted because you cancel or your entitlement expires. Availability still depends on a functioning device and accessible local records.
5. The 7-day free trial
Eligible new subscribers receive 7 days free on the monthly or annual plan. Unless you cancel in time, the trial automatically converts to the selected paid plan: $4.99 USD per month or $29.99 USD per year, plus applicable taxes.
The trial starts when you confirm the eligible offer in the store, not when you merely install the app. The store displays eligibility and the first charge date before confirmation. Trial availability is subject to store eligibility rules; switching plans does not guarantee another trial. If you are not eligible, the store shows the applicable paid offer before you choose to purchase.
For an Apple-billed trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid renewal. For a Google Play-billed trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Follow the store-specific steps below. Trial access may end immediately if the store ends it on cancellation; check the store's confirmation.
6. Automatic renewal and payment
By confirming a subscription in the store, you authorize that store to charge your selected payment method on the terms shown there. After any eligible free trial, your subscription renews automatically for another month or year, as selected, unless you cancel before renewal. Charges and renewal processing follow the store's timing and payment rules. Check the store subscription screen for the next billing date.
We will give any price-change, renewal, or material-change notices required by applicable law or store rules and obtain consent when required. A price change applies only as permitted by those rules, not retroactively to a period already paid for. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect. Failed payments, refunds, revocations, or store grace periods can affect access as shown by the store.
7. Manage or cancel your subscription
Apple: Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select TFP Finance, and choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial. You can also start from Apple Account. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase; for a trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Google Play: Open Google Play subscriptions using the Google Account that made the purchase, select TFP Finance, and choose Cancel subscription. In the Play Store app, use your profile, Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. See Google's cancellation instructions. Cancel a trial before it ends.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid access generally continues until the end of the period already paid for, unless a refund, revocation, or applicable law changes that result. The store confirms the end date. A trial may end earlier on cancellation. After entitlement ends, the saved-record access described in section 4 remains.
Deleting app data, uninstalling the app, or sending an email does not itself cancel a store subscription. If you cannot find or cancel it, contact us at support@tfpath.com and the billing store promptly. We will help identify the correct cancellation route; you do not need to call TFPath or accept a retention offer to cancel.
8. Refunds, restoration, and switching stores
Refund eligibility and processing follow the billing store's policies and applicable consumer law. For Apple purchases, use Apple's refund request service. For Google purchases, use Google Play's refund guidance. Contact us if you need help. Cancellation alone does not automatically refund earlier charges, and nothing in these terms removes any refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
Use the purchasing store account and the app's restore-purchase option when available to restore an eligible entitlement. Restoring a purchase does not restore deleted payroll or budget records. A purchase from one store does not automatically transfer to another store or platform. Check existing subscriptions before subscribing elsewhere to avoid duplicate charges. Plan changes follow the options and timing presented by the billing store.
9. Your records, permissions, and responsibilities
You retain your rights in documents and information you enter. Import only records you own or are authorized to use, and follow your employer's rules for handling payroll documents. TFPath does not take ownership of your financial records or obtain permission to use them for advertising or model training through these terms.
Review imports, estimates, due dates, and payment records before relying on them. Keep original documents and appropriate exports. Optional reminders depend on permissions, operating-system scheduling, device settings, and subscription access. They may be delayed or unavailable; maintain another way to track important deadlines. Recording an expense as paid does not send money or verify receipt by the payee.
Use the app lawfully. Do not interfere with its security, distribute unauthorized copies, infringe others' rights, or circumvent paid access. Restrictions on reverse engineering or interoperability do not apply where prohibited by law or an applicable open-source license.
10. Local storage, exports, and deletion
Your personal financial records are stored locally, as explained in the Privacy Policy. TFPath does not provide a financial cloud account, synchronization service, or remote recovery of your records. Device loss, uninstalling, local deletion, or loss of required keys can make records inaccessible.
The current encrypted archive export requires a separately saved recovery key, and the current app has no archive restore screen. Do not assume an archive can be restored inside the app. Redacted summaries can still contain financial figures. Review any export before sharing, protect its destination, and retain original records. Local deletion does not erase copies you previously exported or sent to other services.
11. Availability and changes to the service
Features may depend on supported devices, file formats, operating systems, permissions, reference versions, and store availability. Store purchase, restoration, or entitlement checks can require an internet connection even though financial processing is local. We may issue updates to improve security, reliability, or supported functionality.
We may restrict unlawful or materially abusive use, or discontinue a service when necessary. Where feasible, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to preserve records. We will honor applicable paid-period obligations and legally required refunds or other remedies if a material paid service becomes unavailable. A service change does not authorize us to erase your local records or continue charging for a discontinued service.
12. Warranties and responsibility for loss
To the extent permitted by law, TFP Finance is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee that calculations, imports, or notifications will be complete or error-free. Any mandatory consumer guarantees and express obligations in these terms remain in effect.
To the extent permitted by law, TFPath is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including lost profits or missed financial opportunities. This limitation does not exclude responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. Applicable mandatory store terms and consumer rights remain controlling.
13. Applicable law and resolving concerns
Colorado law governs these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. This choice does not remove rights or court access you have under applicable law. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a waiver of class-action rights.
Please contact support@tfpath.com if a problem arises so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a requirement that prevents you from using a store remedy, reporting a concern to a regulator, or exercising a legal right.
14. Updates to these terms and contact
We will post updated terms with a revised date and give appropriate notice of material changes before they take effect. We will obtain renewed agreement where required. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights or alter charges already incurred. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the affected service and cancel future renewals; applicable refund and other rights remain available.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. These terms, applicable store terms, and the offer you confirm govern the matters they address. We will not transfer our obligations in a way that reduces your rights under these terms.
