TFPath Technologies LLC
TFP Finance Privacy Policy
Your financial records stay under your control.
Last updated October 15, 2026
Pre-release notice. TFP Finance is in development for an initial United States release. This policy describes the current app and separately identifies planned store subscription processing. Purchases are not yet available.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
TFPath Technologies LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, develops TFP Finance for Southwest Pilots. In this policy, "TFPath," "we," and "us" mean TFPath Technologies LLC. Contact us at support@tfpath.com for privacy questions or requests.
This policy covers information handled by the TFP Finance app and related support. The Website Privacy Notice explains tfpath.com hosting logs and website theme storage. Apple, Google, your device provider, and any storage service you choose also have their own privacy policies.
2. Information the app handles on your device
You choose what to import or enter. Local records can include payroll PDFs and extracted pay information; employee or other identifiers appearing in those documents; income, deductions, benefits, tax elections, retirement and disability-planning inputs; budgets, expenses, due dates and recorded payments; and locally calculated estimates and import-review history.
The app also stores your preferences and any profile details, household or dependent information, and profile image you choose to add. These records support payroll review, estimates, budgeting, local personalization, and reminders. Local calculations and learning use your records on your device.
TFPath does not receive these records through normal app use. PDF extraction and financial calculations take place on your device. The app does not ask for bank or employer login credentials, connect to those accounts, send bill payments, or upload payroll documents for cloud processing. A TFPath financial cloud account is not required.
3. Permissions and device features
The system file picker gives the app access to documents or a profile image that you select. System save or share controls let you choose an export destination. If that destination is a cloud drive or another app, that provider handles the file under its own terms.
Optional expense reminders use device notification services. Notification permissions and lock-screen settings affect delivery and what others can see. You can change these permissions in device settings. Device authentication is handled by the operating system; TFP Finance receives an authentication result, not your fingerprint or face template.
4. Information TFPath receives directly
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments you choose to send, and ordinary email metadata such as time and routing information. You may also choose to provide your name, app version, device type, and a description of a problem. We use this information to respond, resolve issues, handle privacy requests, and maintain necessary business records.
Please do not send passwords, recovery keys, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or unredacted payroll documents. Describe the problem using fictional examples or carefully redacted screenshots where possible. A summary labeled "redacted" can still contain financial figures.
5. Planned app-store purchases
When subscriptions become available, Apple or Google will process the purchase using your store account. The app will use store purchase information, such as product and transaction identifiers, trial eligibility, purchase and expiry dates, and subscription or refund status, to unlock or restore access. This information is separate from your payroll and budget records.
TFPath may receive transaction, settlement, tax, and sales-report information made available by the store to administer purchases, respond to billing questions, prevent misuse, and keep accounting records. TFPath does not receive your full payment-card number through the app-store purchase process. Your store account and payment details are handled under the store's privacy policy.
The store billing integration is not active in the current pre-release version. We will check and update this policy against the actual purchase implementation before enabling sales.
6. Analytics, advertising, diagnostics, and updates
TFP Finance does not include advertising or third-party advertising trackers, and does not send payroll, budget, or tax records to an analytics or artificial-intelligence service. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, or use it to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.
In-app diagnostics sharing and automatic reference downloads are not configured in the current pre-release version. We will describe any future collection, destination, purpose, and retention before enabling a feature that changes these practices. Apple or Google may independently process store, device, or diagnostic information under your platform settings and their policies, and may make developer reports available to us. Any such reports we receive are used to maintain reliability and support the app; we do not add your local financial records to them.
7. When information leaves your device or is shared
You control exports and messages you send. Sharing a file with a cloud drive, email service, recipient, or other app gives that destination access to its contents. Files outside TFP Finance are not erased by deleting records inside the app.
For information TFPath actually receives, our business email is provided through GoDaddy and Microsoft 365. Website hosting is provided by GoDaddy. Apple and Google handle their respective store services. These providers process information needed to deliver those services under their applicable terms. We do not give them your local financial records as part of normal app operation.
We may disclose information we hold when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights or security, investigate fraud, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or sale. Any successor must handle transferred information consistently with applicable law and the commitments in this policy. These circumstances do not give us remote access to your device records.
8. Retention and your deletion controls
Local records remain on your device until you remove them using app controls or they are otherwise removed from the device. In Data & Privacy, "Purge original PDFs" removes retained source PDFs while keeping normalized imported records and review status. "Reset local learning" keeps your underlying history. "Delete all local data" removes personal app records and scheduled app reminders; installed public reference packages and appearance preferences may remain.
Subscription cancellation or expiration does not delete saved records. Under the launch access policy, you can still read, export, and delete saved records after access to paid features ends. Deleting local data, uninstalling the app, or emailing us does not cancel a store subscription. Use the cancellation steps in the Terms of Use.
Routine support and enquiry emails are retained for up to 24 months after the matter is resolved. We review resolved correspondence monthly and delete routine records by that limit. Records needed for accounting, tax, legal obligations, disputes, or security may be kept longer for those purposes, based on the applicable obligation and how long the matter remains relevant. Provider backups may follow their own deletion cycles; information retained solely in backups is not used for routine business purposes.
9. Security, exports, and recovery
The app encrypts saved personal app records and retained imported PDFs on your device and uses operating-system protected storage for keys and protected settings. Keep your device updated and secured. No device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
An encrypted archive export includes personal app records and retained source PDFs. Save its recovery key separately and securely. TFPath cannot retrieve that key for you. The current app has no archive restore screen, so an exported archive is not a promise of in-app recovery. Redacted PDF/CSV summaries remove selected identifying fields but retain financial figures; review them before sharing. Ordinary PDF or CSV exports are not protected by the app's vault encryption once saved outside the app.
Keep original documents and useful exports in a location you control. Device loss, local deletion, or uninstalling can make records inaccessible. The app does not provide a TFPath-hosted backup or synchronization service. Copies in your chosen destinations, recipients' systems, or backups are subject to those systems' settings and retention.
10. Privacy choices and requests
Use the app to review, correct where supported, export, purge, or delete local records. Because TFPath does not hold a remote copy of these records, we cannot retrieve or erase them remotely. Contact support@tfpath.com for help using the controls or for a request about information TFPath holds, such as support correspondence.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, or to appeal a denied request. We will verify requests using proportionate information, explain any legal limits or denial, and respond within applicable deadlines. To appeal, email the same address with "Privacy appeal" in the subject. You may also contact your state privacy regulator or attorney general. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
We do not need your payroll documents or recovery key to handle an ordinary privacy request. Store-account requests should also be directed to Apple or Google when they concern information controlled by that provider.
11. Adults and U.S. launch
TFP Finance is intended for adults age 18 or older and its first release is intended for the United States. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
TFPath operates in the United States. Information you send us or provide to service providers may be processed in the United States or other locations where those providers operate. We will reassess privacy requirements before expanding the app's supported markets.
12. Changes and contact
We will post revisions here with an updated date. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice through the app, website, or another available channel and obtain consent when required. Posting a revised policy does not authorize an undisclosed new use of your data.
